one of c’s close friends, a graduate of the naval academy, hooked us up with his friend who is stationed on the (uss?) nimitz, which is currently here for fleet week. we finally got to meet up with him (he has a girlfriend, so we weren’t after him, per se) and I asked him about this so-called “cruise book.”
After a few drinks, he promised us the cruise book. C and I said we would need to have a look at it and determine if we liked what we saw. Once our notations were made, THEN we would decide whether or not to make the trip to San Diego, where they are currently stationed.
He said it might be hard to find us hot naval officers who were single and tall, but that he would try. C told him to ‘make it happen.’
And so, based on his recommendation, a good time to visit is early next year. I think we just might have to…
I need to see this stupid cruise book.
