The deed is done. I sent Dolby a Dear John/youre nice but lets be friends letter. After talking to Beaker last night and to C this morning, I became convinced that I had to end this now before it got too far along. Ugh…this is the part I hate.
I feel relieved though that I dont have to force it or squeeze him in, or try to make something happen that most likely wont. I like hanging out with him, but its not enough to say that I want to go on date 4.
What I find interesting/amusing is that everyone is pulling for Dorky Beaker. God, so dorky. Giselle and I were discussing the situation today–she said that even though hes such a dork, theres something that compels me to go out on another date with him. It’s a pretty good strategy, if you think about it. As far as I know, he has such a good personality, and the more he is able to prolong the dating process, the more I’m sure I will like him. Despite the dorky thing. I dunno. Maybe I can get over that.
On another note–C is so anxious to meet Beaker that she wants to rush home from a coworkers bday dinner so she can be around in time to see him arrive and play connect 4. Heh.
