how my cat got her name

it’s weird being back–away from my sick cat in houston who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. It’s weird to see Sabine–so healthy and so young and compare it to the frail bag-of-bones Demon. Weird how much Demon has aged in the past year. And weird again how wise and protective she has become.

But this is why we call Demon, Demon.
