now taking orders

It was a grueling weekend for both Sabine, myself, and my roomie, Christine, as we frantically tried to cram in 12 months of photos into 1 weekend.

Friday, I made a very detailed plan/shooting schedule
Saturday, I went shopping for props
Sunday, Christine and I spent the entire day shooting Sabine

It was pretty exhausting. The first shot took the longest. Sabine was kind of grumpy and she was not having confetti, balloons, or extra guests to watch her. We tried several times to take the photo but each time she freaked out and scrambled.

We ended up having to break down the set and trying something different just to get the shot. We also played classical music and fed her pieces of chicken–such a diva.

By the time was all said and done, we got 10 really good shots, 2 so so but passable shots, and one calendar. Sabine, being the diva she is, totally worked it for the december calendar shot (which will also double as christmas cards). The shot we chose is pure magic.

What a good baby she is. For the most part–besides the shaky start–she was wonderful. Didn’t budge at all, and in many shots, totally worked the camera. I need to figure out a way to profit off of her.

No pictures to post bc the calendar will be a surprise for those lucky enough to get them (who knew making your own calendar could be so expensive?) For others, we’ll take orders.

I’m expecting a calendar…and you’ll be getting one in return. Ours are small magnets though, not the whole shebang. Act surprised.

i found that as well. but if you read the fine print–its 4.99 per image upload. multiply that by 13. And we haven’t even gotten to the actual price of calendars.

Yikes. You should contact a print house directly — use your designer hook-ups.
