In our house, we have our television on a bench, at an angle from the corner of the wall. If you imagine a triangle, the corner where 2 walls meet form 2 sides of the triangle. The tv on bench is the longest side of the triangle. Because of this setup, there is space behind the tv to the wall–space that Sabine enjoys crawling around in.
Lately, I’ve noticed she will crawl into that space and meow, facing the wall, as if she is looking at something. Her eyes scan up and down the wall and she is backing up as she meows. The meow she uses is her “where are you” meow–its the one she uses when she is scared or confused or when Im in the other room and she wants me to come out and play with her.
Last night Sly and I were watching Paranormal State and got really freaked out. At this time, Sabine walked to the corner space and started meowing. I never really thought about it before, but, what if she was meowing at something? Something we couldn’t see…
Don’t they say animals have the ability to detect things/sounds/people/etc that humans cannot.
