Sly bought this book for the cat merge thats about to happen in a week or so…I’m reading it, but I’m a bit nervous about it. Apparently cat are like children, and we, as parents, have to set the boundaries/schedules.
I also wonder who will be the alpha cat between pandora and sabine. Sabine is a loud beast, but she’s also pretty chicken shit. Her encounter with a dog left her nonplussed (she didnt care, just went on top of the couch and stared at the puppies unamused) and her encounter with the evil-eyed devil cat left her w/out several tufts of fur.
Pandora is crazy, semi-mute, and has no claws. She likes to jump on counters, tables, whatever, and intentionally knock things over with her paws. She also enjoys a good bag of sugar snap peas, as well as hiding in tight places…
This is the book we got…

July 2, 2008 at 10:58 amI have that book…and I still don’t understand what I can do to ease the tension between my two cats. It does a lot of explaining as to *why* things happen but not really what you can do. Any suggestions???

July 2, 2008 at 11:18 amit’s sucking. I’m at a loss of what to do too…we are purchasing that Feliway stuff and getting those hippie herbs…but I dont know what to do. We haven’t really even gotten to the stage where they occupy the same space. Ugh.
