The other night, when Christine and I were up until 3 something am working on her calendars, Sabine would not leave us alone. First she tried meowing. We ignored her. Then she tried running around the upstairs living space darting in and out of curtains. Again, ignored. Then she brought her favorite stuffed toy (pink octopus) upstairs from downstairs and placed it at Christine’s feet. We didn’t even notice until she squawked at us. We fawned over her a bit and then continued working on the calendar. Next thing you know, there’s a fat cat in Christine’s lap with her nasty piss paw on the computer screen, staring at the pictures of herself in the calendar.
